Delivery Transformation Office – Data Transformation Architect.

We are seeking a Transformation Architect specializing in Data to lead the transformation of large-scale enterprise delivery programs for strategic clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on, client-facing architecture leader who can translate business challenges into modern data, analytics, and AI solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience across enterprise data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, ETL/data integration, Azure Data Factory (ADF), AI/BI, and Azure/AWS cloud environments , along with the executive presence to consult with clients, shape solution roadmaps, and lead transformation from strategy through implementation.

What You Will Do

- Serve as a client-facing Data Solution Architect , partnering with client executives, technology leaders, data teams, and delivery organizations to define and execute enterprise data transformation strategies.
- Assess clients' current data ecosystems and develop modernization roadmaps across data platforms, analytics, AI, cloud, and data engineering .
- Architect scalable data platforms and pipelines using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure, and AWS .
- Design modern data architectures that support data ingestion, ETL/ELT, lakehouse architectures, data warehousing, analytics, BI, and AI use cases .
- Help clients modernize legacy data platforms and migrate workloads to cloud-based data ecosystems .
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and clearly communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Lead proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives through production deployment and scaled enterprise adoption.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, advanced analytics, and BI to improve decision-making, automation, productivity, and customer experience.
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solutions are architecturally sound, secure, governed, scalable, and aligned with client objectives.
- Quantify and communicate the business value of transformation initiatives through measurable improvements in cost, performance, productivity, quality, and user experience.

Core Skills & Experience Data Architecture & Engineering

- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures and modern data platforms
- Hands-on architectural experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, data pipelines, and orchestration
- Experience designing and modernizing Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines
- Understanding of modern architectural patterns including lakehouse, data lake, and data warehouse architectures
- Experience integrating structured and unstructured data across multiple enterprise systems

Cloud

- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure , particularly Azure-based data services
- Experience working with AWS data environments and/or designing multi-cloud solutions
- Experience migrating legacy data platforms and workloads to cloud-based architectures

Analytics & BI

- Experience designing data platforms that support AI, machine learning, GenAI, advanced analytics, and BI use cases
- Strong understanding of how enterprise data architectures enable AI adoption
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Ability to connect technical data strategy to measurable business outcomes

Architecture & Delivery

- Experience designing integrations using APIs, microservices, and enterprise data services
- Understanding of DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD, observability, security, and data governance
- Ability to take solutions from discovery and architecture through POC, implementation, and enterprise-scale adoption

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, data architecture, data engineering, technology consulting, or enterprise transformation roles.
- Demonstrated experience architecting large-scale enterprise data and analytics solutions .
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, ETL/ELT, ADF/data pipelines, and Azure and/or AWS cloud environments .
- Experience leading data modernization or cloud data transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation.
- Strong enterprise consulting and client-facing experience, including the ability to lead discovery sessions and architecture discussions with senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into explicit recommendations and business value for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering, architecture, data, and delivery teams.
- Experience delivering measurable improvements across cost, scalability, performance, quality, and customer experience.
