Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SOLIDWORKS Design Engineer with experience in 3D modelling, mechanical equipment design, sheet metal design and fabrication drawings. The candidate should be capable of preparing detailed engineering drawings and coordinating with HVAC, MEP and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models and mechanical assemblies using SOLIDWORKS.
- Prepare 2D engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Develop sheet metal components, ducting and equipment layouts.
- Design mechanical components, piping supports, brackets and frames.




- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and material specifications.
- Review engineering drawings and ensure design accuracy.
- Coordinate with HVAC, MEP, fabrication and site execution teams.
- Modify designs based on project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of SOLIDWORKS 3D modelling and assembly.
- Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment design.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment and MEP systems is preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of BOM preparation and technical documentation.

Preferred Experience

- HVAC equipment design.
- Chiller, AHU and pump components.
- Ducting and sheet metal fabrication.
- Mechanical piping and supports.
- Industrial and commercial building projects.
