WhoFi is a US-based company with a subsidiary in Hyderabad, India. This position is based in our Hyderabad office, which operates from a coworking space, and works closely with our US team.

We're immediately looking for a Software Engineer to join our team who enjoys solving real-world problems, collaborating with a passionate team, and seeing the direct impact of their work. The Software Engineer role creates and enhances technology that directly affects how our customers improve their communities.

As a Software Engineer you will:

- Own features from understanding requirements through development, testing, release, and support.
- Deliver and support software into the production environment in a timely and robust manner
- Develop and improve applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, or other languages as needed.
- Collaborate with product and support teams to translate client needs into reliable features and an intuitive user experience.
- Diagnose production issues, optimize database queries, and improve application performance.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations and support our AWS environment.
- Make practical technical decisions, communicate risks early, and take responsibility for delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- A Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree is a must
- Experience with PHP, MySQL, AWS, C# is a must
- Hands-on production experience with React.js and Node.js, including building user interfaces, backend services, and REST APIs is a plus
- Ability to work across coding languages
- Incredible attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is a must
- Must be a team player
- Results oriented
- 5 years relevant work experience

Pay: ₹2,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
