About the role

You will build and ship AI-powered features end to end, from the React front end to Node.js and Python services. You will turn large language models into reliable product features that real users depend on every day. You will work in a small team, own features from idea to production, and make real technical decisions.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, build and maintain back-end services and APIs in Node.js and Python.

- Build clean, responsive user interfaces in React.

- Integrate LLMs (Claude, OpenAI or similar) into product features: chat, document analysis, summarisation, extraction and agent workflows.

- Build retrieval (RAG) pipelines: document parsing, chunking, embedding and vector search.

- Write prompts and tool definitions, and measure output quality with evaluation sets.

- Control AI cost, speed and reliability: caching, retries, fallbacks, rate limits.

- Write tests for the code you ship and review teammates' code.

- Deploy, monitor and fix production issues on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

- Work with product and business teams to turn needs into working features

Required qualifications:





- Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc.) in Information Technology or Computer Science. 3–4 years of qualified software development experience.

- Strong Node.js: building REST APIs, async patterns, TypeScript.

Strong Python: building services and data or AI pipelines.

- Strong React: hooks, state management, building production UIs.

- Hands-on experience shipping at least one AI / LLM feature to real users.

- Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

- Comfortable with Git, code reviews and automated testing.

- Clear written and spoken English

Nice to have:

- Experience with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant or similar).

- Experience building AI agents with tool use, or with MCP.

- Experience with LLM evaluation and prompt testing.

- AWS experience: Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS; infrastructure as code (Pulumi or Terraform).

- Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with document processing: PDF parsing and OCR.

Experience in legal, finance or compliance products
