Key Responsibilities :

1. Local SEO Strategy

- Develop and execute Local SEO strategies to improve visibility across Google Search, Google Maps, and

Local Pack for 7,000+ stores.

- Optimize location-specific landing pages and store locator pages for high-intent local searches.

- Identify opportunities to improve rankings for searches such as "pharmacy near me" and "medical store

near me".

- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and emerging local and AI-driven search trends.

Google Business Profile

Management

- Own the optimization and management of 7,000+ Google Business Profiles.

- Manage bulk verification, profile updates, categories, attributes, business hours, photos, and other listing

information.

- Improve Google Maps visibility through ongoing profile optimization.

3. Ratings, Reviews & Reputation Management

- Develop strategies to increase authentic customer reviews and improve store ratings.

- Build scalable processes for review monitoring, response management, and reputation tracking.

4. Analytics & Performance

- Build dashboards to track store-level Local SEO performance.

- Monitor local rankings, Maps visibility, GBP impressions, calls, website clicks, direction requests, organic

traffic, and conversions.

- Identify underperforming stores and drive initiatives to improve their visibility.

- Benchmark competitors and identify new local search opportunities.

Generative Engine

Optimization (GEO) & AI-powered Local Discovery

- Develop and execute GEO strategies to improve Apollo Pharmacy's visibility and recommendations across





AI-powered search platforms like Gemini and ChatGPT

- Optimize Apollo Pharmacy's digital presence for conversational, location-based queries such as "Pharmacy

near me" and "Which pharmacy near me delivers medicines?"

- Build scalable content and structured data strategies to improve Apollo Pharmacy's visibility in AI

recommendations for local pharmacy and medicine delivery queries.

Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on Local SEO experience.

- Proven experience managing Local SEO for multi-location businesses with hundreds or thousands of

physical locations.

- Strong expertise in Google Business Profile management, Google Maps optimization, and local search

rankings

- Experience with location-based keyword research, landing page optimization, local citations, and

reputation management.

- Proficiency in Google Search Console, GBP metrics, and analytics tools.

- Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to implement scalable SEO

initiatives.

- Valuable to have: Knowledge of GBP APIs, bulk listing management, and Schema.org structured data.

Key Performance Indicators

- Growth in Google Maps and Local visibility.

- Growth in non-branded local organic traffic.

- Increase in GBP interactions (calls, website clicks, and direction requests).

- Improvement in store-level search rankings and landing page traffic.

- Improvement in store ratings, review volume, and profile optimization coverage.

- Growth in organic discovery and conversions attributable to local search
