About the Role

Aviv Digital Academy is looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Trainer with at least 2 years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in UX research, interface design, design systems, Figma, AI-powered design workflows, and real-world product design processes.

This role involves delivering industry-focused training, mentoring students, and preparing aspiring designers for professional design careers.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct beginner, intermediate, and advanced UI/UX training sessions.
- Teach the complete UX design process, from research and ideation to usability testing and developer handoff.
- Deliver advanced Figma training, including Auto Layout, variables, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
- Introduce AI-powered design tools and practical AI workflows to students.
- Guide students through real-world projects, capstone projects, and portfolio development.
- Conduct design reviews, usability evaluations, and project assessments.
- Mentor students in UX case studies, design thinking, and product problem-solving.
- Support internship projects and industry-readiness activities.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve course materials and training quality.
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, design practices, and industry standards.

Required Skills UX Design & Research

- Strong understanding of UX design frameworks and human-centered design.
- User research, competitor analysis, user interviews, personas, and journey mapping.
- Information architecture, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Usability testing, accessibility, UX laws, and usability heuristics.
- Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions.





UI Design & Figma

- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Typography, color systems, grids, visual hierarchy, and layout principles.
- Auto Layout, components, variants, variables, and responsive design.
- Design systems, reusable component libraries, and developer handoff.
- High-fidelity UI design and interactive prototyping.

AI Tools & Workflows (Mandatory)

- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Figma Make, Google Stitch, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to integrate AI into UX research, ideation, wireframing, UI generation, and prototyping.
- Understanding of prompt engineering for design tasks.
- Experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve design productivity and efficiency.
- Familiarity with AI-powered website and application prototyping.
- Ability to train students in practical AI-assisted design workflows.
- Understanding of AI limitations and the importance of human validation in design decisions.

Additional Technical Skills

- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with no-code website-building platforms.
- Understanding of Figma-to-development workflows.
- Knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals is an advantage.

Training & Mentoring

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex design concepts through practical examples.
- Experience providing design critiques and mentoring designers or students.
- Strong understanding of real-world project workflows.
- Ability to guide students in creating professional portfolios and UX case studies.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of skilled UI/UX or product design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing real-world design projects.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI tools in practical design workflows.
- Experience working on client projects or digital products.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience is preferred, not mandatory.
