About Position:

We are seeking a Senior C++ Telecom Protocol Developer with expertise in 4G LTE, 5G NR, and 3GPP standards to develop and enhance real-time telecom signaling solutions. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining protocol parsers, decoders, and state machines that process live control-plane traffic across LTE and 5G core networks. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ systems programming experience, deep understanding of telecom protocols, and expertise in network signaling analysis, protocol correlation, and carrier-grade software development.

What You'll Do:

- Design, implement, and maintain 4G LTE control-plane protocol parsers and state machines for S1AP, GTP-C v1/v2, PFCP, and SGsAP protocols.
- Design, implement, and maintain 5G control-plane protocol parsers and state machines for NGAP and Service-Based Interface (SBI) APIs across 5G Core Network Functions.
- Develop high-performance protocol processing modules for real-time decoding and analysis of mobile network signaling traffic.
- Parse, decode, and correlate complex multi-message procedures across 4G and 5G telecom networks.
- Implement cross-protocol session correlation by linking signaling procedures, subscriber contexts, charging events, and session lifecycles.
- Develop solutions for tracking LTE EPC and 5G Core network signaling flows and subscriber interactions.
- Maintain protocol decoding logic in accordance with evolving 3GPP Release specifications and telecom standards.
- Develop unit tests, integration tests, and regression test suites using PCAP-based traffic replay frameworks.
- Analyze network traces and signaling flows to validate protocol implementations and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Collaborate with packet ingestion and network analytics teams to define message interfaces, metadata contracts, and data processing workflows.
- Contribute to Docker containerization, Helm chart development, and Kubernetes-based deployment architectures.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and system optimization initiatives.




- Create and maintain technical documentation covering protocol behavior, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- Support performance tuning, scalability improvements, and reliability enhancements for protocol processing engines.
- Work closely with telecom domain experts and product teams to deliver carrier-grade network analytics solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in C++ software development within telecom, networking, protocol engineering, or carrier-grade systems environments.
- Strong hands-on programming expertise in contemporary C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Deep understanding of 3GPP standards covering 4G LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and 5G Service-Based Architecture (SBA).
- Strong knowledge of LTE and 5G signaling protocols including S1AP, GTP-C, PFCP, SGsAP, NGAP, NAS, and SBI interfaces.
- Experience developing protocol parsers, protocol decoders, state machines, and signaling analysis applications.
- Strong understanding of telecom call flows, session management, mobility management, authentication procedures, and charging mechanisms.
- Experience correlating signaling events across multiple network layers and protocols.
- Knowledge of 5G Core Network Functions such as AMF, SMF, UDM, PCF, NRF, AUSF, CHF, NEF, NSSF, NWDAF, UDR, SEPP, BSF, and UDSF.
- Experience with packet capture analysis tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and protocol trace analysis frameworks.
- Understanding of network packet processing, transport protocols, and distributed telecom systems.
- Experience developing and validating solutions using PCAP traffic replays and protocol simulation environments.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems and networked application development.




- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/2, and service-based communication within 5G architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies such as ZeroMQ (ZMQ) or similar communication frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills for resolving complex protocol and network issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and architecture teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
