Role Description The Senior Systems Administrator will oversee, maintain, and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance operations across the organization. This full-time, on-site role based in India includes managing servers and systems, performing routine monitoring, patching, and upgrades, and implementing best practices for security, backups, and disaster recovery. The person in this role will troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide escalation-level technical support, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve infrastructure problems.

Additional responsibilities include supporting network administration tasks,



documenting system configurations and procedures, and contributing to IT process improvements and automation initiatives.

Administrator will also help plan and execute infrastructure projects, including migrations, capacity planning, and new technology deployments aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust System Administration skills, including server management, operating system configuration, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent complex system and user issues.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, such as managing switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess broad Information Technology knowledge, including security best practices, backup and recovery, and cloud or virtualization technologies.
- Relevant skills such as scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), experience with ITIL-aligned processes, and familiarity with enterprise tools (e.g., Active Directory, monitoring solutions) are beneficial.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead system administration role, preferably within financial services or a similarly regulated environment, is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to system reliability and security.
