Job Title: Senior Steward

Big Yellow Door Cafe is looking for a hardworking, well-presented, and customer-focused Senior Steward to join our service team. The ideal candidate should have good hospitality skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to ensure excellent guest service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide excellent food and beverage service to guests.
- Welcome guests and assist them with their seating and dining needs.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely service and proper coordination with the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Ensure proper table setup before and after guest service.
- Assist and guide junior stewards and service staff.
- Handle guest requests and complaints politely and professionally.
- Maintain proper grooming, personal hygiene, and discipline.
- Follow restaurant service standards and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service equipment are properly maintained.




- Support the Captain and management team in smooth daily operations.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality service.
- Previous experience as a Steward or Senior Steward preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong teamwork and customer-handling abilities.
- Presentable personality with professional grooming.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
