We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer (MERN Stack) to build scalable products, drive technical decisions, and help shape the future of our healthcare platform. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership, growth opportunities, and the chance to create meaningful impact in healthcare.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and ship production-ready features across the full stack using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Build scalable, performant, and maintainable RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop clean, reusable, and well-tested React.js components and frontend modules with a strong focus on UX and performance.
- Write robust TypeScript code across both frontend and backend codebases.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, indexes, and aggregation pipelines for complex data requirements.
- Integrate third-party services, internal microservices, and healthcare APIs into the platform.
- Participate actively in system design discussions, sprint planning, and technical reviews.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
- Conduct meaningful code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and smooth deployments.
- Contribute to technical documentation,



onboarding guides, and engineering standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and help establish a strong engineering culture within the team.

Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Deep proficiency in the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript for both client-side and server-side development.
- Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication, versioning, error handling, and rate limiting.
- Strong React.js skills, including hooks, component lifecycle, state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context API), lazy loading, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of Node.js internals, including the event loop, async patterns, streams, and error handling.
- Strong MongoDB skills, including data modeling, indexing strategies, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerized development environments.




- Solid understanding of web security fundamentals, including OAuth2, JWT, CORS, and OWASP best practices.
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred

- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (App Service, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures.
- Experience with GraphQL API design and implementation.
- Exposure to WebSockets or real-time features such as live notifications, dashboards, or streaming data.
- Working knowledge of Redis for caching and session management.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search functionality.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
- Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Experience in healthcare IT, including EMR, RIS, LIS, ABHA, FHIR, or HL7 integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
