About the role

Creative Ek Tara Foundation’s social enterprise, Ek Tara Creates, empowers women from vulnerable backgrounds through large-scale tailoring services. The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of projects across production, client service and enterprise operations, ensuring commitments are met on time, within agreed budgets and to the required quality. The role combines hands-on operational leadership with systems building, team development and clear reporting on results.

Key responsibilities

· Lead project planning from brief to close: define scope, milestones, owners, budgets, capacity and success measures; maintain an integrated delivery calendar and resolve dependencies.

· Oversee tailoring production and fulfilment, translating client requirements into feasible production plans and coordinating sampling, schedules, quality checks, dispatch and after-delivery follow-up.

· Build reliable operating systems for procurement, inventory, vendor coordination, logistics and stock control; monitor costs, wastage, lead times and service levels.

· Maintain trusted client and partner relationships. Clarify requirements, communicate progress, manage changes and escalate delivery risks early.

· Plan and deliver exhibitions, market events and other project activities, including vendor, venue, product, staffing and logistics coordination.

· Lead and support project and operations teams with clear priorities, regular reviews, coaching and accountability; coordinate effectively with tailoring teams and foundation colleagues.





· Track budgets, workplans, project indicators and risks. Prepare concise progress reports, maintain accurate records and recommend corrective action when performance shifts.

· Identify process improvements that strengthen product quality, operational consistency and the social enterprise’s ability to create dignified livelihood opportunities for women.

Experience and capabilities

· At least 5 years of progressive experience in project management, operations or production; experience leading projects or teams is expected.

· Experience in apparel, tailoring, manufacturing, supply chain, social enterprise or a related delivery environment is strongly preferred.

· Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, multiple stakeholders and changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

· Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and comfort maintaining trackers, budgets and clear management reports.

· Explicit communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative and people-centred leadership style.

· Commitment to the Foundation’s mission and respect for the dignity, agency and inclusion of women from vulnerable backgrounds; willingness to travel for project needs.
