Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented VLSI Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will contribute to digital design, RTL coding, functional verification, and semiconductor design activities. Candidates should have a strong understanding of digital electronics, logic design, and hardware description languages.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain RTL designs using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Understand design specifications and convert them into synthesizable RTL code.
- Perform RTL simulation, debugging, and functional verification.
- Work with digital logic design, finite state machines (FSMs), and timing concepts.
- Support synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and design optimization activities.
- Identify and resolve design issues in collaboration with verification and physical design teams.
- Prepare design documentation, test scenarios, and technical reports.
- Follow coding standards and semiconductor design methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong fundamentals in Digital Electronics and Digital Logic Design.
- Knowledge of Verilog HDL and/or SystemVerilog.




- Understanding of combinational and sequential circuits.
- Basic knowledge of RTL design and simulation.
- Familiarity with testbenches, debugging, and waveform analysis.
- Understanding of CMOS fundamentals and semiconductor concepts.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Shell is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens EDA.
- Knowledge of synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
- Understanding of ASIC or FPGA design flows.
- Exposure to UVM-based verification is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux commands and version control tools such as Git.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), VLSI Design, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.

Experience

- Freshers: Robust academic fundamentals and relevant VLSI projects are preferred.
- Experienced candidates: 13 years of experience in RTL design, digital design, functional verification, or related VLSI activities.
