We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile messaging platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test new features, identify issues, and improve overall system performance. A key aspect of this role is the ability to clearly document findings, write precise test cases, and communicate issues effectively across teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to ensure clarity, alignment, and high-quality product delivery. In this role, your key responsibilities are:

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Write clear, concise, and well-structured test documentation
- Perform functional, regression, integration, security, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs with detailed reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results
- Communicate defects, risks, and test results effectively to developers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are well understood and testable
- Validate APIs, messaging workflows, and platform integrations
- Ensure product releases meet quality standards and business requirements
- Contribute to test automation efforts and continuous improvement processes
- Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of process flows and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience in software testing or QA roles




- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create clear, structured, and detailed documentation
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or similar tools)
- Good knowledge of application security principles and OWASP Top 10
- Experience in testing APIs for security vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with automation softwares is an added advantage
- Knowledge of SQL and basic scripting
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in telecom, messaging/wallet platforms, or SaaS products
- Exposure to Load/Performance and Security testing tools
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a simple, understandable manner

Pay: ₹530,000.00 - ₹1,080,000.00 per year
