Role & responsibilities

1. Operational Delivery

Manage end-to-end RCM operations, including patient access, eligibility, charge entry, payment posting, AR follow-up, denial management and collections.

2. Revenue & Collection Performance

Ensure achievement of collection targets, improve cash realization, reduce outstanding AR and enhance revenue performance.

3. SLA & KPI Management

Monitor operational KPIs, client SLAs, productivity, quality, turnaround time and process performance.

4. People Management

Lead multiple teams through Managers and Team Leaders, manage workforce productivity, employee engagement, attrition and performance.

5. Capacity Planning & Resource Management

Drive FTE planning, resource utilization, staffing requirements, forecasting and operational capacity management.

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

Manage client relationships, conduct business reviews, handle escalations and ensure client satisfaction.

7. Quality & Compliance

Ensure process accuracy, quality standards, regulatory compliance and adherence to client-specific requirements.

8. Process Improvement

Identify operational gaps, implement process improvements, improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

9. Transition & Implementation

Lead new client transitions, process migrations, stabilization and operational ramp-ups.

Financial & P&L; Management

Manage operational budgets, cost optimization, revenue targets, margins and overall account profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field

(Masters degree preferred).

710 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management with at least 35 years in a leadership role overseeing payment posting.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, payment posting workflows, ERA/EOB interpretation, contractual adjustments, and denial codes.

Proven experience managing high-volume operations in a multi-specialty or multi-client environment.

Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency with medical billing software and practice management systems (e.g., Epic,

Athena, NextGen, Kareo).

Robust analytical skills and experience with data reporting and reconciliation tools

(Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Experience with RPA tools or automation in payment posting.

CPC, CPB, CRCR, or other RCM certifications preferred.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement methodologies.

Experience in outsourcing/BPO settings (if applicable).
