Senior Java Backend Developer AWS

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Java Backend Developer with AWS experience to design, develop, enhance, and support scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.

Required Technical Skills

- Java: Solid hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17/21, Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, and JVM fundamentals.
- Spring Boot: Microservices, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and RESTful APIs.
- AWS: Hands-on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, query optimization, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Messaging: Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, and asynchronous processing.
- DevOps: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Testing: JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and API testing.
- Production Support: Troubleshooting, performance optimization, logging, monitoring, and root cause analysis.





Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-performance Java/Spring Boot backend services.
- Build secure, scalable REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and external APIs.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA, and business teams.

Preferred Skills

- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- AWS security, observability, and cost optimization.
- Healthcare, PBM, claims, or pharmacy application experience.
