Job Responsibilities Conduct performance testing of air conditioners and heat pumps in a psychrometric laboratory.

Perform testing as per AHRI 210/240, EN 14511, and EN 14825 standards.

Knowledge of CVP, CD and frost accumulation testing for both ATA (Air-to-Air) and ATW (Air-to-Water) as per applicable standards.

Set and maintain required temperature, humidity, and airflow conditions in test chambers.

Measure cooling capacity, heating capacity, power consumption, COP, EER, SEER, and SCOP, as applicable.

Operate and monitor test instruments, sensors, power analyzers, and data acquisition systems.

Analyze test data and prepare performance test reports.

Ensure instrument calibration and maintain laboratory records.

Troubleshoot test equipment and ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures.

Support ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality requirements, where applicable.





Required Skills

Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and psychrometrics.

Understanding of AHRI 210/240, EN 14511, and EN 14825 standards.

Hands-on experience in psychrometric chamber testing.

Knowledge of CVP, CD, and frost accumulation testing for ATA and ATW equipment.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis, and technical report preparation.

Knowledge of NABL requirements, laboratory documentation, and quality management systems.

Valuable analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
