Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Embedded System Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Senior Embedded System

Engineer will architect, design, and develop embedded software and firmware for custom hardware platforms in domains such as telecom, networking, cyber security, and industrial IoT. Day-to-day responsibilities include requirements analysis, hardware-software integration, board bring-up, driver development, performance optimization, and system-level debugging. The role involves collaborating closely with hardware,



ASIC, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions, as well as contributing to design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.

The engineer will mentor junior team members, support product validation and field issue resolution, and help translate customer requirements into robust embedded solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Embedded Software development, including firmware design, real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and low-level programming (C/C++).
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Electronics knowledge, covering digital and analog circuit fundamentals, microcontrollers, SoCs, interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, Ethernet), and board-level debugging.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial IoT, such as connectivity protocols (MQTT, CoAP), edge devices, sensor integration, and secure communication.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (Git), build systems, scripting (Python or similar), and familiarity with software testing and CI/CD practices.
- Relevant additional qualifications include experience with telecom and networking standards (5G, Wi-Fi 6), cyber security concepts, and high-speed data acquisition systems.
