SENIOR DESIGN VERIFICATION ENGINEER

DESIGN DEPARTMENT • INFINITE FUN DIVISION

Location: Mira Road / Manor

Reports to: Team Lead / Manager

Experience: 3–7 years

Qualification: BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering

ROLE PURPOSE

Create and verify 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, Bills of Materials and layouts for the Infinite Fun (IF) water-park division. Support production drawing release, new design development, continuous improvement and corrective/preventive action (CAPA), value engineering, prototype development with suppliers and design validation while meeting engineering standards and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create and review 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, BOMs and park layouts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

· Prepare park layouts and foundation details in AutoCAD and release manufacturing/supplier drawings in line with applicable standards and GD&T; requirements.

· Verify drawings for accuracy and completeness using a first-time-right approach, considering design for manufacturing, assembly, serviceability and DFMEA.

· Develop physical prototype parts or systems to verify CAD designs and validate intended performance through testing.

· Release accurate drawings and BOMs on time to the plant, design team, suppliers and Purchase.

· Support pattern, mould and layout drawings required for product design and placement.

· Coordinate with PMO, clients, architects, STAAD consultants, design teams, Purchase and vendors.

· Track activities and review progress regularly with the manager, client and PMO.





· Support customer-requirement interpretation, product improvement, value engineering and CAPA resolution.

· Promote standardised parts and platform strategies to reduce inventory and product cost.

· Apply quality and measurement principles; maintain design guidelines and a failure directory for future design work.

· Visit manufacturing plants, suppliers and water-park sites proactively to understand issues and support CAPA closure.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

· BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 7 years of engineering-industry experience.

· Hands-on SolidWorks 2D/3D and AutoCAD skills, including modelling, drafting, assemblies and layouts.

· Working knowledge of design verification, DFMEA, GD&T;, production drawing release and material selection.

· Understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly, Strength of Materials and BOM preparation.

· Knowledge of prototype development, testing, quality aspects and measurement techniques.

· Good PowerPoint and Excel presentation skills.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
