Role Description The Senior Content Writer will be responsible for planning, creating, and editing high-quality editorial content for IJ Magazine across print and digital platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Jaipur involves developing feature articles, interviews, event coverage, trend reports, and promotional content aligned with the brand’s voice and the jewellery industry’s evolving landscape. The role includes conducting in-depth research on market trends, brands, designers, and events, collaborating with editors, designers, and marketing teams, and maintaining editorial calendars.

Writer will also ensure content accuracy and consistency, oversee proofreading and quality checks, and contribute ideas for new sections, special editions, and event-related content.



Participation in key IJ events and industry interactions will be expected to gather insights and build strong domain knowledge.

Qualifications

- Robust Writing and Web Content Writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging, clear, and industry-relevant narratives.
- Experience in Content Strategy, including planning editorial calendars and aligning content with brand and audience objectives.
- Proficiency in Research to develop fact-based, insightful articles on jewellery trends, brands, and market developments.
- Excellent Proofreading and editing capabilities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high editorial standards.
- Prior experience in journalism, publishing, or lifestyle/fashion/luxury content, preferably within the jewellery or related industries.
- Strong command of English, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different formats (features, interviews, reports, digital content).
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools, basic SEO principles, and content management systems is beneficial.
