Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Architect to design, document and present scalable, secure and cost-effective AWS solutions. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on AWS architecture experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage with both business stakeholders and technical architecture teams.

The role involves providing architectural recommendations, evaluating technical approaches, preparing Statements of Work (SoW), and supporting solution proposals and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and document scalable, secure and cost-effective AWS architectures aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.
- Recommend optimal architectural solutions considering performance, scalability, security, cost and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to business stakeholders, explaining solution benefits, costs, risks and business impact.
- Present and defend architecture designs during technical and peer architecture review forums.
- Prepare high-level Statements of Work (SoW), solution overviews, architecture diagrams and project development plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, data and platform teams to ensure successful solution implementation.




- Maintain architecture documentation, design decisions, technical trade-offs and operational handover documents.
- Stay updated on data analytics and AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure and GCP to support hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in AWS architecture and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security and cost optimisation.
- Proven experience designing and implementing production-grade AWS solutions.
- Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical documentation, decision logs and Statements of Work.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Experience participating in architecture reviews and presenting solutions to senior technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of project scoping, development planning and solution delivery.
- Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure and GCP is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, global delivery environment.
