About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP / PPDS Consultant with strong expertise in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP PP and PPDS implementation or support, including MRP, production planning, scheduling strategies, heuristics and setup matrix configuration.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of manufacturing planning processes, master data, SAP configuration and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement, configure and support SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).
- Configure and work with PPDS heuristics, setup groups and setup matrices.
- Configure planning board profiles, strategy profiles and scheduling-related settings.
- Manage and optimise production planning and detailed scheduling processes.
- Work on MRP and MRP Live processes, including planning runs and exception handling.
- Manage production planning master data, including Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centres and Routings.
- Configure and support consumption-based planning, including Reorder Point, Min-Max and Forecast-Based Planning.
- Support demand-based planning and master scheduling processes.
- Work on integration with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD),



manufacturing and execution processes.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand planning requirements and resolve functional issues.
- Support testing, documentation, deployment and post-go-live activities.
- Work on custom enhancements, reports and third-party interfaces where required.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- Hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and PPDS.
- At least 12 end-to-end implementation or support project experience in SAP PP and PPDS.
- Robust knowledge of PPDS heuristics, setup groups and setup matrices.
- Experience configuring planning board profiles and strategy profiles.
- Hands-on experience with MRP and MRP Live.
- Good understanding of production planning and master scheduling processes.
- Knowledge of BOM, Routings, Work Centres and planning master data.
- Experience with consumption-based and demand-based planning.
- Understanding of integration with SAP SD and manufacturing processes.

Good to Have :

- SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) knowledge, especially Pick, Pack, Putaway and Bin Management.
- Experience with custom enhancements, reports and third-party interfaces.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA manufacturing and planning environments.
