ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) Specialist for a 1-Year Contractual Assignment based out of Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Pune. The consultant will lead functional support, configuration, and enhancement initiatives across Management Accounting (CO) modules within SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. Primary emphasis will be placed on Product Costing (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders. 2.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &

- FUNCTIONAL GOVERNANCE Product Costing (CO-PC): Design, configure, and maintain Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling, Actual Costing / Material Ledger, standard cost estimate runs, and variance analysis.

Profitability

Analysis (CO-PA): Manage Costing-based CO-PA and S/4HANA Account-based CO-PA / Margin Analysis, derivation rules, valuation strategies, and profitability reporting routines. Overhead &
- Internal Orders (CCA / IO): Configure Cost Center Accounting, assessment/distribution cycles, Activity Types, Statistical Key Figures, and Internal Order settlement rules.

Profit Center

Accounting (PCA): Oversee Profit Center master data structures, dummy profit centers, segment reporting,



and valuation transfer pricing setups. Cross-Module Integration: Ensure seamless integration touchpoints between SAP CO and PP (production orders, routings), MM (goods movements, valuation), SD (pricing, revenue recognition), and FI (Universal Journal / ACDOCA reconciliation). Support &
- Continuous Improvement: Lead month-end/year-end closing routines in CO, troubleshoot production support incidents, execute functional testing (SIT/UAT), and author functional specifications (FS).
- REQUIRED TECHNICAL &
- FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Core CO Expertise: Hands-on experience across CO-PC, CO-PA, CCA, PCA, and Internal Orders. S/4HANA Management Accounting: Solid understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger integration.

Closing Governance: Expertise in period-end closing tasks, cost allocations, WIP calculation, variance calculation, and settlements. Documentation &
- Testing: Proven ability to write Functional Specs (FS), test scripts, and drive defect resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS Contract Period: 1-Year initial contract with possibility of renewal based on project milestones.

Work Locations: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, or Pune.

Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, CA, ICWA, or B.E / B.Tech.
