Location: Pampakuda, Ernakulam, Kerala

Reporting to: Area Manager / Cluster Manager

Job Summary

Purplle is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to manage its retail store operations at Pampakuda. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational standards and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Manage day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure proper store opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising, product displays and store hygiene.
- Monitor stock availability, inventory and replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.

1. Sales & Business Performance

- Drive store sales and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Monitor daily sales, conversion rates and average transaction value.
- Identify opportunities to improve store performance.
- Implement promotional activities and upselling strategies.
- Analyse sales reports and take corrective actions.

1. Team Management

- Lead, motivate and manage Beauty Advisors and other store staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage shift schedules.
- Monitor employee attendance, grooming and performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and product training.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee development.

1. Customer Experience

- Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.




- Handle customer complaints and escalations.
- Ensure customers receive appropriate beauty and skincare recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of customer engagement.

1. Inventory & Compliance

- Monitor stock movement and inventory accuracy.
- Prevent stock loss, damage and pilferage.
- Ensure proper billing and cash management.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams.
- Maintain required store documentation and reports.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail store management.
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales orientation and business acumen.
- Ability to manage store operations and achieve targets.
