Role Description The Restaurant Manager role at Eventide is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Restaurant

Manager oversees daily café operations, including supervising staff, managing shifts, and ensuring smooth service during peak hours. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, addressing guest feedback, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Manager coordinates hiring and training, supports inventory and stock management for food and beverage items, and works closely with the leadership team to implement sustainable practices and meet business goals.



The role also involves monitoring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including menu understanding, service standards, and basic inventory handling.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, mentoring team members, and coordinating with management.
- Hiring and team leadership experience, including interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and performance feedback.
- Proven ability to manage daily restaurant operations and resolve issues in a fast-paced workplace.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and local compliance requirements in hospitality settings.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in restaurant or café management is preferred; hospitality-related education or training is an advantage.
