What you’ll do

? Develop recent formulations and improve existing ones, based on customer needs, performance standards and cost targets:

- Hygiene: detergents, degreasers, sanitizers, dishwash and surface-care products
- Water: scale and corrosion inhibitors, antiscalants, dispersants, biocides and boiler/cooling-water treatment chemicals

? Benchmark competitor products and bring new concepts into our pipeline for both divisions

? Run stability and performance tests, troubleshoot formulation and process issues, and support scale-up with production

? Work with suppliers and procurement on raw material sourcing, specifications, SDS and TDS

? Keep formulation records and technical files audit-ready and in line with ISO standards





? Work with Sales, Quality and Operations to turn customer problems into product solutions

Core Skills

? Formulation & R&D;: New product development, reformulation and product improvement, cost-target formulation, competitive benchmarking, bench formulation, troubleshooting, scale-up and process improvement

⚗️ Chemistry Expertise: Surfactant technology, emulsion technology, raw material functionality and interactions, specialty additives, defoamers; water treatment chemistry (scale, corrosion, microbial control) is a strong plus

? Technical & Regulatory Support: Supplier management, raw material specifications, SDS and TDS documentation, technical writing and product files, ISO documentation and compliance, quality standards

? Testing & Evaluation: Stability, viscosity and performance testing; application trials; hands-on with viscometers, moisture analysers, UV/FTIR, pH/conductivity meters and water-testing methods

? Professional: Cross-functional collaboration, customer solution design, project prioritisation, data management and reporting, advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint

What we’re looking for

✅ M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry (or a related field)

✅ 4–7 years of bench formulation experience in home care, personal care, institutional cleaning, water treatment or specialty chemicals

✅ A curious, practical problem-solver who can handle several projects across two product lines on tight timelines
