SAP ECC FI Functional Analyst - Retail Domain

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ECC FI Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Financial Accounting, SAP configuration, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting SAP FI functionalities, resolving financial process issues, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Experience in the Retail domain is mandatory, while knowledge of Apparel and Footwear (AFS) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support core SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
- Configure, customise, and maintain SAP ECC FI functionalities based on business requirements.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot financial posting, reconciliation, and accounting-related issues.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with SAP MM, SD, and other functional teams to manage cross-module integration.
- Participate in functional testing, integration testing, deployments, and issue resolution.




- Analyse business requirements and provide appropriate SAP FI solutions.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration records, and support documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across integrated SAP modules.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 10 - 12 years of experience in SAP ECC FI functional consulting.
- Mandatory experience in the Retail domain.
- Robust hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting processes and configuration.
- Expertise in GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting.
- Experience in SAP ECC FI production support and issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP FI, MM, and SD modules.
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge or experience in SAP Apparel and Footwear (AFS).
- Experience working with retail business processes and financial operations.
- Exposure to SAP implementation, rollout, and deployment projects.
