About the role

We are looking for a confident, personable and target-driven individual to join our recruitment team, helping us identify and qualify candidates for UK care sector opportunities.

This is a phone-based, candidate engagement role, similar to an SDR position. You will contact candidates who have expressed interest in working in the UK care sector, introduce relevant opportunities and assess whether they are genuinely interested, motivated and suitable to progress.

You don't need to be an experienced recruiter. We will provide full training on our recruitment process, including what to say, how to structure conversations, what questions to ask and how to identify strong candidates.

Your main objective is simple: connect with candidates, understand their motivations and identify those who are genuinely ready to take the next step.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to candidates from our applicant pipeline and lead lists.
- Introduce available UK care sector opportunities and explain the recruitment process.
- Build rapport and establish candidates' genuine interest in the chance.
- Ask structured qualifying questions to assess suitability, motivation, availability and readiness to proceed.
- Identify candidates who meet the initial requirements and are serious about pursuing the opportunity.
- Explain the next steps and arrange follow-up calls or interviews where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, call notes and progress updates in our CRM.
- Follow up with candidates via phone, WhatsApp and email to maintain engagement.

- Organised, proactive and consistent with follow-ups and record-keeping.
- A positive attitude, resilience and willingness to learn.

Experience & Requirements

- Previous experience in telesales, sales development, recruitment, customer service or call-centre environments is preferred.
- Experience with outbound calling or lead qualification is an advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel and CRM systems.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment.
- Own laptop and headset.
- Availability to work UK business hours.
