Role Description This is a full time, on-site Radiologist role based in Ranchi. The Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities, ensuring accurate, timely reports for referring clinicians. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, selecting appropriate imaging procedures, supervising imaging technologists, and maintaining high standards of image quality and radiation safety.

The role involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.



The Radiologist will also participate in quality assurance activities, adhere to institutional protocols and regulatory guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement in diagnostic services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Medicine with proven clinical acumen and patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency in Radiology, including interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound imaging.
- Experience in Nuclear Medicine, with skills in performing and interpreting radionuclide imaging and related procedures.
- Expertise in Medical Imaging technologies, including image optimization, safety standards, and protocol adherence.
- Competence in Mammography, including screening and diagnostic breast imaging and reporting.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and staying updated with advances in imaging and evidence-based guidelines.
- Prior experience in a hospital or diagnostic center setting is preferred; familiarity with digital PACS and RIS systems is an advantage.
