Job Summary The Quality Technician III at Jabil, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with established standards. This position involves performing a variety of quality control activities, supporting manufacturing operations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct in-process and final inspections of products and components according to specifications, blueprints, and quality plans.

- Perform various tests and measurements using a range of inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators).

- Document inspection results accurately and promptly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.

- Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

- Support manufacturing personnel in understanding and adhering to quality standards and procedures.

- Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control processes, procedures, and documentation.

- Train less experienced quality technicians on inspection techniques and quality standards.

- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.

- Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to address quality-related concerns.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Job Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in a technical field preferred.





- 5 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or medical device manufacturing.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.

- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT).

- Expertise in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments and tools.

- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality methodologies.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 quality management systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

- IPC certifications (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) are highly desirable.
