Required Qualifications & Education

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QC/QA Engineer in a heavy or light steel/piping fabrication workshop.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural/piping shop drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as AWS D1.1, AISC, ASME, or ASTM.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).

The QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing quality inspections across all stages of shop fabrication—from raw material receiving to final dispatch.
