Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.

The Purchasing

Executive will evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure alignment with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate purchasing records,



monitoring inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, and collaborating with production, finance, and logistics teams to support uninterrupted operations. The role also involves contributing to vendor assessment and performance reviews, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Engineering

Consumable purchase, supply chain experience is preferable.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, with the ability to process, review, and track documentation accurately.
- Demonstrated experience in Purchase Management and Procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, and for clear documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and basic supply chain processes.
- Experience using ERP or procurement software is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
