Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials as per project requirements.
- Source and evaluate vendors for materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, bricks/blocks, RMC, tiles, sanitaryware, hardware, and finishing materials.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery at project sites.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores, Accounts and Engineering teams to understand material requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network and evaluate vendor performance.
- Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements (CS) for management approval.
- Monitor material prices, market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per approved BOQ,



specifications, budgets and project timelines.
- Track pending orders, deliveries and resolve issues related to quality, quantity and supply.
- Maintain proper procurement records, vendor documentation and purchase reports.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of civil construction materials and procurement processes.
- Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, specifications and project requirements.
- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
- Good coordination, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project requirements and meet tight deadlines.

Qualification B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in construction, infrastructure and large-scale civil projects.
