Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in the elevator industry and mandatory knowledge of elevator products and components. The candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, vendor coordination, price negotiation, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for elevator manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for elevator components, spare parts, and materials.
- Must have knowledge of elevator products, components, and their applications.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project and production requirements.
- Follow up with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality, and pending orders.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Stores, and Accounts departments.
- Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, quotations, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor material costs and support cost optimization.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, delays, and supplier discrepancies.





Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the elevator or lift industry.
- Mandatory: Practical knowledge of elevator products, components, and spare parts.
- Knowledge of vendor management, quotation comparison, and price negotiation.
- Positive communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience in elevator manufacturing, installation, modernization, or maintenance companies will be preferred.
- Candidates should be familiar with elevator components such as motors, gearboxes, control panels, cables, guide rails, door operators, bearings, and other lift-related materials.
