– Junior Purchase Engineer

Industry: Chemical / Chemical Manufacturing

Location: Head Office (HO)

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3 Years

CTC: ₹5–6 LPA

Department: Purchase

Reporting To: VP – Purchase / Head – Commercial

Key Responsibilities

- Handle CAPEX procurement for chemical plants and manufacturing projects.
- Procure mechanical equipment such as reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, pipelines, and plant machinery.
- Source and develop vendors for engineering equipment and project materials.
- Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Production, and Maintenance teams.




- Ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain purchase records.
- Handle procurement documentation through SAP / ERP systems.

Required Skills
- Experience in mechanical procurement within the chemical industry.
- Knowledge of chemical plant equipment and CAPEX procurement.
- Vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
