Job Summary The Fire Fighting Project Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems at project sites. The role involves managing site workers, coordinating with engineers and contractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that all activities are completed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and fire safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily site activities related to fire fighting system installation.
- Ensure proper installation of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, fire fighting piping, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients for smooth execution of work.
- Read and interpret approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and manpower at the site.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship as per approved specifications.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and site safety procedures.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.




- Coordinate with the store and project team for material requirements.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in consultation with the project engineer.
- Supervise hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, and testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
- Coordinate with the client and consultant during inspections and system handover.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment at the site.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Experience in fire fighting system installation and site supervision preferred.
- Knowledge of fire hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump, and fire fighting piping systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and BOQ.
- Positive communication, leadership, and workforce management skills.

Reporting To Project Manager / Project Engineer

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of assigned work.
- Quality of installation and testing.
- Effective manpower and material management.
- Compliance with site safety requirements.
- Successful inspection and handover of the fire fighting system.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kolkata, West Bengal
