About SPIRO
SPIRO is Africa's leading electric mobility company and one of the continent's fastest-growing technology-driven mobility ecosystems. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to clean, accessible, and affordable transportation by building the infrastructure, platforms, and partnerships that power Africa's electric mobility future.
More than an EV company, SPIRO is building the operating system for electric mobility across Africa, connecting battery-swapping infrastructure, fleet operations, energy commerce, digital payments, customer engagement, and data intelligence into one integrated ecosystem. Today, SPIRO operates across nine African markets - Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, Benin, Togo, and Cameroon - serving riders, fleet owners, businesses, and strategic partners at scale.
Backed by over $200 million in investment, SPIRO is tackling some of the continent's most complex and meaningful challenges at the intersection of mobility, energy, fin-tech, IoT, and technology. Our platforms power connected vehicles, battery-swapping networks, real-time operational systems, and customer experiences that support millions of journeys and transactions.
Role Overview The Project Manager will establish and drive a cross-functional PMO governance framework for electric two-wheeler product development, localization and market launches across global and African markets.
The role will ensure that all programs follow a defined Stage-Gate process, milestone plan, RACI, risk management, change control and formal functional sign-off before progressing to the next stage. The PM will act as the central governance and coordination function across Product, Marketing, Engineering,
Sourcing, Quality, Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, After Sales and Service, without replacing functional ownership.
PM Governance Structure

Core Program Team
PMO + nominated owners from Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Technology,
After Sales, Service, Supply Chain and Country Teams.
Responsibilities: Weekly execution, action tracking, milestone delivery and issue resolution.
Stage-Gate & Sign-Off Process
Gate Principle
Every gate must have
Entry Criteria → Deliverables → Functional Review → Risk Assessment → Formal Sign-Off → Go /
