Edifice Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Head – Architecture to lead and deliver high-quality architectural projects across diverse typologies, from concept to completion. The role will involve driving design excellence, ensuring effective project execution, managing project profitability, developing strong client relationships, and leading design teams to deliver outstanding architectural solutions.

About the Role The Project Head will take complete ownership of assigned projects, ensuring design quality, timely delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong combination of architectural design expertise, project management capabilities, team leadership, and client management skills. The individual will be responsible for translating project requirements into creative and technically sound design solutions while maintaining design intent through execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership and responsibility for entrusted projects from concept design through execution and completion.
- Lead the development of innovative, high-quality design solutions that respond to project requirements and aspirations.
- Ensure high standards of design quality, technical accuracy, and timely project delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive site analysis and assess project-specific requirements before initiating design development.
- Research, interpret, and ensure compliance with applicable national and international building codes, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Develop comprehensive design presentations, drawing packages,



and project documentation at every stage of the design process.
- Ensure design intent and fidelity are maintained throughout project execution, reviewing and responding to site-related queries and Work Site Reports (WSRs).
- Identify potential project risks, proactively develop mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues to the Vertical Head or management.
- Plan and manage project resources efficiently to ensure optimal utilisation, cost control, profitability, and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are aligned with agreed project scope, quality standards, and schedules.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, effective communication, and proactive resolution of concerns.
- Anticipate potential client escalations and keep the Vertical Head and management informed of critical issues.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the reporting team, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and professional growth.
- Conduct timely and fair performance assessments, establish development goals, and support team members in achieving their career aspirations.
- Collaborate with the Vertical Head to define personal growth objectives and work towards agreed professional development milestones.
- Conduct post-project reviews to analyse project successes, challenges, and learnings, including a review one year after project occupation.




- Compile and maintain comprehensive project documentation for internal knowledge sharing and external publication.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve design processes, project delivery efficiency, and overall team performance.

What We're Looking For

- A qualified Architect with a B.Arch. degree and valid Council of Architecture (COA) registration.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management, preferably within an architectural design consultancy.
- Strong experience in handling architectural projects across diverse typologies and managing projects independently from concept to execution.
- Excellent architectural design sensibility, creativity, and the ability to develop cutting-edge design solutions.
- Strong understanding of building codes, statutory regulations, technical documentation, and architectural detailing.
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and profitability.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing architectural design teams.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage expectations, resolve concerns, and build long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- A solid sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to design excellence and project delivery.
