Manager / Senior manager Project Finance

Job Overview we are looking for an experienced finance skilled to join its Project Finance team. The role will be responsible for managing fund-raising activities, exploring financing opportunities, handling lender relationships and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will work closely with banks, financial institutions, credit rating agencies and internal stakeholders to facilitate funding for the company's business expansion, capital expenditure and other corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage fund-raising activities through various sources, including bank borrowings, External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs), Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing, bonds, NCDs and other debt instruments.
- Analyse the company's funding requirements and identify suitable financing opportunities at competitive costs.
- Prepare financial models, projections and presentations to facilitate credit approvals and lender discussions.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities, loan sanctions and financing arrangements.
- Review and negotiate term sheets, loan agreements and financing documents in coordination with lenders and legal counsel.




- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements, including RBI and SEBI guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, credit rating agencies, regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders.
- Support annual business planning, long-term financial planning and funding strategies.
- Monitor surplus fund deployment considering liquidity requirements, returns and associated risks.
- Contribute to the preparation of board notes, management presentations and business plans.
- Ensure timely completion of financial transactions and related documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- CA / CFA / MBA from a premier institute.
- 510 years of relevant experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Fund Raising, Debt Syndication or Structured Finance.
- Experience working with large corporates, banks or financial institutions in similar roles.
- Strong understanding of debt financing instruments, including Term Loans, ECBs, NCDs, Bonds and ECA financing.
- Knowledge of RBI and SEBI regulations, foreign exchange regulations and banking guidelines.
- Experience in financial modelling, financial projections and lender negotiations.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and working knowledge of SAP.
