: PROJECT INCHARGE ELECTRICAL

1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result oriented Project Incharge Electrical to lead and manage electrical project execution activities at our Raichur Project.

The candidate shall be responsible for overall site execution, project planning, resource management, material coordination, client coordination, quality control, safety compliance and timely completion of assigned electrical works as per approved project schedules and specifications.

The candidate should have solid experience in Power Transmission, Substations and Electrical EPC projects, preferably involving 220 kV, 400 kV and 765 kV systems.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Project Execution & Management

- Overall responsibility for execution and completion of assigned electrical works.
- Plan, organize and monitor daily site execution activities.
- Ensure project execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and achieve project milestones.
- Identify execution challenges and implement corrective measures.

B. Transmission Line & Substation Works

- Coordinate transmission line survey, foundation works, tower erection, conductor stringing, sagging and commissioning.
- Supervise electrical equipment erection, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate 220 kV, 400 kV and 765 kV transmission line and substation activities, wherever applicable.
- Resolve technical and site execution issues in coordination with the design and engineering teams.

C. Planning & Resource Management

- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly work programmes.
- Plan manpower, machinery, tools and equipment requirements.




- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Monitor work productivity and ensure adherence to project timelines.

D. Material & Procurement Coordination

- Coordinate with procurement and stores departments for timely material availability.
- Monitor material requirements, inspections, dispatches and site deliveries.
- Ensure proper material storage, handling and utilization.
- Follow up with vendors for pending supplies and delivery schedules.

E. Client & Internal Coordination

- Coordinate with Client officials, Consultants, Vendors and Subcontractors.
- Attend project review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Civil, QA/QC, Safety and Commercial departments.
- Address client observations and ensure timely closure of pending issues.

F. Quality & Safety

- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and inspection requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and statutory safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety reviews.

G. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor project targets, actual progress and critical activities.
- Maintain site records, inspection reports, material statements and execution documentation.
- Report project risks, delays and resource requirements to management.

H. Testing, Commissioning & Handover





- Coordinate testing, inspection and commissioning activities.
- Ensure completion of punch points and outstanding works.
- Coordinate with the client for final inspections and approvals.
- Ensure proper project documentation and handover.

3. Desired Experience & Technical Competencies

- 1015 years of experience in Electrical EPC / Power Transmission / Substation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in transmission line and substation execution.
- Knowledge of 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV and 765 kV systems.
- Experience in foundation, tower erection, conductor stringing, sagging and earthing.
- Knowledge of AIS substation equipment erection, testing and commissioning.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications and project schedules.
- Experience in manpower, material and subcontractor management.
- Familiarity with PGCIL/TRANSCO project procedures and quality/safety requirements will be an added advantage.
