Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Programmer cum Operator to handle 5-Axis VMC machines. The role involves CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and producing high-precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 5-Axis VMC machines using CAM software.
- Set up machines, fixtures, tools, and work offsets for production.
- Operate 5-Axis VMC machines for precision machining.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
- Prove out new programs and support first-article approval.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Perform in-process inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues.




- Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety and quality SOPs.
- Coordinate with R&D; Mechanical Design team for smooth work done.

​ Required Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in programming and operating 5-Axis VMC machines.
- Proficiency in CAM software such as SolidCam or similar.
- Experience with CNC controllers for Mitsubishi
- Robust understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixtures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or Precision manufacturing.
- Exposure to complex geometry and tight-tolerance components.
- Knowledge of cycle-time reduction and process optimization.
