About Buildify

Buildify is a custom software company in Chennai. We build ERP, POS, LMS, e-commerce platforms and websites for clients, along with fully custom software and our own software startup products. We care about shipping quality work quickly, and our team works hands-on with live products every day.

About the Role

You will work directly with the founder and a team lead on Buildify's internal tools and core products, and help take those products from build to launch. You will also work on live client projects, which gives you all-round experience across development, testing and automation. This is a technical, hands-on role. It is not a research or marketing role.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain internal tools and Buildify's core software products
- Develop features using JavaScript, React and Next.js, with Supabase/PostgreSQL for data
- Integrate AI systems and APIs into products and internal workflows
- Build automations that save time for the team and for clients
- Contribute to live client projects across ERP, POS, LMS, e-commerce and websites
- Test features, report bugs and fix issues before release
- Take part in sprint planning, code reviews and product launches
- Document what you build so the team can use and extend it





Requirements

- Good knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and Git
- Good knowledge of new-age AI systems, including LLM APIs and how AI features fit into products
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and agile workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and learn independently
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field
- Able to work in office in Chennai and commit 15-20 hours per week

Good to have

- Projects of your own, such as deployed apps or AI-based tools
- Experience with Next.js, Supabase or Node.js
- Prior AI experience is a plus but not required

Internship Details

- Location: On-site, Maduravoyal, Chennai
- Commitment: 15-20 hours per week
- Duration: 3 months
- Compensation: First month unpaid, then ₹4,000-6,000 per month based on performance
