Role & responsibilities

Purchasing Management and Vendor Coordination

- Managing the day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods
- Coordinating local vendors and monitoring their delivery performance and quality • Inventory management in line with operational requirements
- Handling import / export requirements for intercompany deliveries, including GST, customs clearance, Incoterms and export documentation

3.3 Contracts, Supplier Validation and Auditing
- Negotiating contracts, prices and terms with suppliers
- Validating and auditing suppliers in line with standards
- Cooperating closely with Quality Assurance on supplier approvals, first article inspections (PPAP / ISIR) and complaint handling
- Ensuring compliance with policies and standards across all procurement activities, including the Code of Conduct, anti-corruption rules and ESG / supplier sustainability requirements

3.4 Cost Control, Documentation and Reporting




- Cost control and continuous improvement of procurement conditions and processes • Maintaining complete and accurate procurement documentation
- Regular reporting to the Managing Director of ndia and to the Head of Procurement, AG, Switzerland

3.5 ERP System (IFS) - Local Key User Procurement / Supply Chain
- Acting as local key user Procurement / Supply Chain for the rollout of the IFS ERP system at the Pune site
- Maintaining supplier and article master data in IFS and supporting data migration, testing and go-live activities

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of proven success in strategic procurement and supply chain management
- Field experience in hydraulics, precision machining and/or iron castings is preferred • Experience in collaborating with international teams
- Experience with ERP systems is required; hands-on experience with IFS is a solid plus

Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken
