Position Description

Lead operational excellence in Group Life! As Process Head – Group Life Operations, you’ll oversee high-volume servicing workflows, drive SLA adherence, and lead a team focused on timely resolution and process improvement. This role blends strategic oversight, stakeholder collaboration, and system expertise to deliver seamless service experiences across group policies. Primary Responsibilities

- Lead the Group Transactions team to ensure resolution of service tickets within the defined 2-hour SLA.
- Oversee operations related to endorsements, policy issuance, cancellations, and error handling.
- Monitor team performance and identify process bottlenecks for improvement.
- Collaborate with Tech, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve systemic issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Provide strategic insights through regular reporting and analytics.
- Support ad-hoc initiatives and operational enhancements as needed.





Requirements (Experience and Education)

- 6–7 years of experience in life insurance operations, preferably in group policy servicing.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.

Required Skills (Tech and Behavioural)

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ticketing systems.
- Robust understanding of group life insurance operations and workflows.

Behavioural Skills:

- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and ability to manage cross-functional coordination.
- Approachable and capable of resolving queries across geographies.
