Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics or a related discipline

Job Objective

Responsible for the design, development, integration and testing of electrical and electronic systems for energy applications. The role involves power distribution, electrical system design, control interfaces, electrical protection and integration of electrical and electronic components.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems, power-distribution networks and electrical panels.

Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and technical specifications.

Work on AC/DC power systems, power supplies, rectifiers, converters and electrical protection systems.

Perform electrical component selection and sizing of cables, busbars, circuit breakers, contactors and protection devices.

Develop and integrate electrical and electronic control systems.

Interface with PLCs, controllers, sensors and industrial automation systems.

Work on PCB design, signal conditioning and electronic circuit development wherever required.

Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.

Evaluate electrical losses, efficiency, reliability and thermal performance.

Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation and automation teams for system integration.

Support prototype development,



validation and product industrialisation.

Prepare technical documentation, electrical drawings and testing reports.

Required Technical Skills

Electrical system design and engineering.

AC/DC power distribution.

Power electronics and electrical protection.

Electrical panel design and wiring.

Electrical measurements and testing.

Knowledge of PLCs and industrial communication protocols.

Understanding of grounding, earthing and electrical safety.

Knowledge of electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

Preferred Experience

Industrial DC power systems and high-current applications.

Rectifiers, DC-DC converters and power supplies.

Battery systems, fuel cells or electrolyser systems.

Renewable energy and energy-storage applications.

PLC, SCADA and industrial automation integration.

Common Requirements

Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to independently execute technical assignments and manage deliverables.

Experience in prototype development, testing and validation.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Good technical documentation and reporting skills.

Willingness to work in an R&D; and product-development workplace.

Ability to coordinate with vendors, suppliers and manufacturing teams.

Application Preference

- Experience in AEM/PEM electrolysers, fuel cells or hydrogen technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
