Qualification

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Nanotechnology, or a closely related discipline.

Research Areas: Hydrogen Storage Materials and Technologies, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Shielding Materials, Advanced Magnetic Materials The selected candidate will be expected to:

Lead and execute independent and collaborative research activities in the identified research areas.

Design, synthesize, fabricate, and characterize advanced functional materials.





Conduct experimental investigations and/or computational modelling relevant to the research objectives.

Utilize advanced materials characterization techniques and interpret experimental results.

Develop innovative materials and prototypes with potential industrial and societal applications.

Publish high-quality research articles in reputed SCI/SCIE-indexed international journals.

Identify research gaps and develop competitive research proposals for national and international funding agencies.

Establish research collaborations with academic institutions, industries, and research laboratories.

Mentor PhD scholars, postgraduate students, and undergraduate research teams.

Contribute to intellectual property generation, technology development, and technology transfer
