Job Title: Podiatrist / Diabetic Foot Care Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Podiatrist to provide comprehensive foot care services, particularly for patients with diabetes. The candidate will be responsible for diabetic foot assessment, identifying foot-related complications, preventive foot care, wound management and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive foot examinations for diabetic and non-diabetic patients.
- Perform diabetic foot screening and risk assessments.
- Assess peripheral neuropathy, foot deformities and vascular complications.
- Conduct foot assessments using ABI, pressure scanning and 3D foot scanning equipment.
- Identify high-risk diabetic foot conditions and refer patients to appropriate specialists.
- Provide basic podiatric treatments, including nail care, callus and corn management, within professional scope.
- Assist in diabetic foot ulcer assessment, dressing and wound care.
- Recommend appropriate therapeutic footwear and custom-made insoles.
- Educate patients on diabetic foot care,



hygiene and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient records, assessment reports and follow-up details.
- Participate in diabetic foot awareness programmes and screening camps.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Podiatry or relevant allied healthcare qualification.
- Candidates with relevant experience in Diabetic Foot Care will be preferred.
- Knowledge of diabetic foot assessment and wound care is essential.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of diabetic foot complications.
- Clinical assessment and patient-handling skills.
- Experience with foot scanning and pressure assessment equipment is desirable.
- Valuable communication and counselling skills.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Experience
- Freshers with relevant qualifications can apply.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
