Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations

Management

- Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch.

- Ensure achievement of production targets as per business plan.

- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, materials).

Production

Planning &

- Control

- Develop and implement production schedules.

- Monitor output, efficiency, and downtime.

- Ensure minimal wastage and maximum productivity.

3.

Quality

Assurance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

- Implement quality control systems and continuous improvement practices.

- Handle customer complaints and ensure corrective actions.

4. Cost Control &

- Budgeting

- Prepare and manage plant budgets.

- Control operational costs and improve profitability.

- Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

5. Maintenance &

- Asset Management

- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.

- Improve equipment reliability and uptime.

- Plan for upgrades and recent installations.

6. Safety &

- Compliance

- Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and environmental regulations.

- Implement safety policies and promote a zero-accident culture.





- Conduct regular audits and training programs.

7. Team Management &

- Leadership

- Lead, guide, and develop plant team including production, maintenance, and support staff.

- Drive performance management and employee engagement.

- Build a solid second line of leadership.

8. Inventory &

- Supply Chain Coordination

- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory.

- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams.

- Ensure smooth inward and outward material flow.

9.

Continuous

Improvement

- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.

- Drive process improvements and operational excellence.

- Encourage innovation and automation.

10. Reporting &

- MIS

- Prepare and present MIS reports to management.

- Track KPIs such as OEE, productivity, rejection rates, and costs.

Qualifications &

- Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial) / MBA

- 8–14 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations

- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing a plant

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
