Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts as per standard recipes.
- Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs’ guidance.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
- Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage, and labeling procedures.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
- Minimize wastage through proper portion control and handling.
- Support basic training of junior staff when required.
- Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management preferred.
- 0–1–2 years of experience in a branded restaurant or hotel.
- Innovative mindset with basic knowledge of menu planning and menu costing. Ability to work under pressure and for long hours in a kitchen workplace.
