- Job Title: Oracle HCM Technical Lead

Job Purpose The Oracle HCM Technical Lead is responsible for technical delivery, engineering standards and the reliability of the Oracle Fusion HCM technology landscape. The role leads the technical design and implementation of integrations, extensions, data movement and technical solutions while ensuring security, maintainability and alignment with the global HR technology architecture.

Working closely with the Functional Solutions Architect, HR Technology team, IT, Payroll, Finance, vendors and business system owners, the role provides technical leadership across projects, integrations, enhancements and acquisitions. The role promotes reusable patterns, reliable operations and high-quality technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture &
- Standards

- Own technical design and engineering standards for Oracle Fusion HCM integrations, extensions, data loads and related technical components.

- Define reusable technical patterns, design principles and documentation standards for current and future HR technology solutions.

- Assess technical options and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

- Provide technical design authority for complex issues and escalate material risks, dependencies and decisions.

- Integrations &

- Data Movement

- Lead technical delivery and support of integrations between Oracle HCM and payroll, identity, finance and other business systems.

- Design, build or oversee integrations using appropriate tools and services, including Oracle Integration Cloud where applicable.

- Oversee HCM Extracts, HDL, Spreadsheet Loader, APIs and other approved data movement mechanisms.

- Establish monitoring, error handling, reconciliation and support procedures to improve integration reliability.





- Support acquisition integration patterns that enable repeatable onboarding of new entities into the global HR technology landscape.

- Technical Quality &

- Platform Stability

- Review technical designs, code, mappings and deployment packages to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

- Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of complex incidents.

- Manage technical dependencies, environments, migration activities and deployment readiness.

- Promote secure development, appropriate access controls, performance, maintainability and controlled change.

- Project &

- Release Delivery

- Plan and coordinate technical work across implementations, enhancements, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Work with functional colleagues to translate approved designs into technical deliverables and realistic delivery plans.

- Lead technical test preparation, integration testing, defect resolution and production deployment activities.

- Assess Oracle quarterly releases for technical impact and coordinate regression testing and remediation.

- Vendor Relationship

- Provide technical direction, and quality oversight to internal team members and implementation partners.

- Review vendor deliverables and ensure technical documentation, knowledge transfer and handover are complete.

- Maintain technical architecture diagrams, interface specifications, runbooks and support documentation.

- Communicate delivery status, technical risks, dependencies and options clearly to HR Technology leadership.

- Extensive Oracle Fusion HCM technical experience, including integrations, data loads and technical troubleshooting.

- Practical experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and relevant integration technologies, APIs, HCM Extracts and HDL.

- Experience leading technical delivery across multiple systems, vendors and business stakeholders.

- Robust understanding of security, release management, testing, environment management and production support.

- Demonstrated technical leadership, structured problem-solving and documentation skills.
