Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Uran, responsible for overseeing daily warehousing and logistics operations. This role includes managing inbound and outbound cargo flows, supervising storage and handling activities, and ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards.

The Operations

Manager will coordinate with transport partners and clients, monitor WMS-based inventory accuracy, and optimize space utilization and turnaround times.





Responsibilities also include leading and developing the operations team, tracking performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to support cost-efficient, reliable service delivery. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers to address operational issues promptly and maintain strong service levels.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in warehousing, logistics operations, or 3PL management, including inbound and outbound coordination.
- Strong skills in inventory control, WMS or similar systems, and data-driven operational monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and security standards in warehousing (CCTV, fire safety, regulatory requirements).
- Proficiency in process improvement, problem-solving, and cost optimization within supply chain or logistics environments.
- Effective team leadership abilities, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
- Clear and professional communication skills for working with clients, transport partners, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working near port-based operations (e.g., JNPT / Nhava Sheva) is an advantage.
- Comfort with in office work in Uran and ability to work extended hours when operational needs require.
